Student Ambassadors
The 2013-2014 student ambassadors continued efforts to recruit and engage their fellow
students by hosting several panel discussions and research workshops. They also worked
alongside MUSE and ASUU to bring Malcolm Gladwell and Wes Moore to campus.
Awards Dinner
Nearly 250 people attended this year's awards dinner in April. The event brought students and donors together to honor their hard work and contributions, as well as spotlight the annual superior research and superior teaching awards. View photos of the event.
CSBS Mentor Luncheons
The college hosted two mentor luncheons this year, bringing several alumni from political science, family and consumer studies, anthropology, economics, sociology, geography, and psychology on campus to visit and share their success stories with current students.
Student Research
It was a great year for students and research. Not only did student participation in the Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP) double, but the turnout for the CSBS Student Research Day was also a success.
