Two students named 2018 Outstanding Undergraduate Researchers
Congratulations to Hannah Samowitz, psychology major, and Valeria Jimenez, political
science major, who were awarded Outstanding Undergraduate Researcher Awards for 2018
by the Office of Undergraduate Research.
Hannah's research uses the lens of environmental psychology to look at how we can motivate Utahns to engage with and support organizations that work towards cleaner air.
Valeria is conducting her thesis under the direction of Professor Jesus Valero titled The Role of Nonprofit Organizations in Promoting Higher Education Among Latina/o Youth: The Case of Latinos in Action (LIA) of Utah.
