Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program

UROP, a university-wide program designed to help undergraduate students work with faculty members on research and creative work, funded 50 CSBS students during the 2012-2013 academic year as they worked on their own research and presented their findings at the 3rd Annual CSBS Student Research Day. UROP provides up to $1,200 per semester for any first-time participants, and $600 for returning students. At the end of the year, students are given the opportunity to present their research at a number of different conferences and even get their work published in the annual Undergraduate Abstracts Journal.
