Darady Bitter received her bachelor's degree in human development and family studies in 2009. She then went on to receive her master's in social work at the University of Texas-Austin. She now works for the Department of Veteran's Affairs and provides supportive counseling to homebound veterans who have lost limbs in war or who have degenerative diseases.
