Sean Meegan

Sean Meegan

MS Psychology; PhD Psychology
Adjunct Professor
University of Utah

Sean Meegan was born and spent his childhood in New York and moved around a good deal. He did a BS in Psychology at St. Louis University in 1993 and got his Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology at the U in 1999.

Meegan went straight into academics as a professor in the Department of Psychology at Western Illinois University, where he loved his job and progressed quickly with early promotion and tenure. But, he and his family missed the mountains terribly, so Meegan found a way to come back to Utah to do research with Intermountain Healthcare. Now Meegan is a Senior Researcher with Intermountain Healthcare and oversees a wide range of research, ranging from public perceptions to employee engagement to planning new facilities to evaluating programs and interventions. He has been teaching at the U for over six years.
