In March 2012, Mike Dowdle was named Vice President of Business Affairs and General Counsel of Bonneville International Corporation. He brings with him nearly thirty years of experience in the legal arena, with much of that focused on intellectual property rights and other legal issues relating to the music and media industries.

From his position as a shareholder at the law firm of Allen, Nelson, Hardy & Evans, Dowdle joined Non-Stop Productions, Inc. as General Counsel, and with two partners co-founded and became President & CEO of the companies at the core of the Non-Stop Music Group. In 2007, Dowdle and his partners sold the Non-Stop Music companies to Warner/Chappell Music, Inc., part of the Warner Music Group, and he became President and CEO of Warner's new worldwide production music division, now known as Warner/Chappell Production Music, Inc.

In 2008, Dowdle took a leave of absence from Warner/Non-Stop to accept a three-year call to serve as the President of the Micronesia Guam Mission of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He returned from that assignment in July of 2011.

Dowdle graduated from the University of Utah (BA cum laude 1980; JD 1983).

Married since 1978, he and his wife Gayla, have four children.
