John has practiced family law since 1979; in 1987 he became a partner with Dart, Adamson & Donovan where his legal career focuses exclusively on the area of family law. He appears regularly in court on complex family law issues, and also applies his substantial skills and experience as a certified mediator and as a fellow of the Collaborative Professionals of Utah to effectively address the individual needs and concerns of his clients.
John is a respected member of Utah’s legal community, where he regularly plans and presents legal education programs and topics for the Family Law Section of the Utah State Bar Association. He is also fellow American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, has been acknowledged in “The Best Lawyers in America”, and as one of “Utah’s Legal Elite” by Utah Business Magazine. John received his B.S. in Political Science from the University of Utah and his J.D. from the Gonzaga University School of Law.
