Jonathan Owens is Associate Director at Cushman & Wakefield | Commerce where he represents landlords as a leasing specialist, and tenants in expansions and start-ups. Jonathan is particularly experienced with development, leasing regional and community shopping centers, and equity projects stabilizing challenged properties. Projects like this provided Jonathan with experience working through entitlements, construction and development, leasing, and management. In 2015 Jonathan was recognized as one of 20 In Their 20's by Utah Business.
After graduating high school Jonathan's life experiences led him to a strong interest in psychology and after the 2008 economic downturn he decided to add economics to his studies to better understand what was happening in the domestic and world economy. Jonathan graduated Cum Laude from the University of Utah in 2010 with a BS in Psychology and a Minor in Economics. While in school he also captained the University of Utah Lacrosse team and participated in psychiatric research with Dr. Perry Renshaw. Jonathan loved the psychology and economics courses he took and believes that they helped prepare him well for his future.
