I am a Utah native and earned my undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Spanish from the University of Utah. I wanted to experience more of the country, and so left Utah to obtain my Master's and Doctoral Degrees at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. I missed the Utah mountains, so I returned home and completed my internship at Utah State University. Much of my training is in university counseling, and I also spent four years working in Wyoming in community mental health before I came to Weber in 2013.
I am a licensed psychologist and I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy in my work with clients. I am generalist and enjoy working with people with a variety of concerns, including stress management, personal growth, and depression. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, hiking with my dog, and working in the garden.
