Marlowe Dazley is senior vice president and managing director at Health Catalyst, a leading provider of data and analytics technology and services to healthcare organizations, committed to being the catalyst for massive, measurable, data-informed healthcare improvement.

Previous to Health Catalyst, Dazley was senior vice president and senior managing director at PNC Bank.  He led PNC’s healthcare consulting division, providing management expertise and advisory services for healthcare payers and providers. PNC is one of the first major banks to offer specialized consulting services for the healthcare industry. The PNC Financial Services Group, Inc. is one of the nation’s largest diversified financial services organizations headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Dazley has 25 years of healthcare experience in various capacities including office of the U.S. Surgeon General, managed care operations, finance, administration, and consulting. Dazley has worked as a consultant since 1996. During this time, Dazley has participated in numerous strategic planning engagements and has led numerous financial turnarounds for clients across the country specializing in revenue cycle improvement and financial operations initiatives.

Prior to joining PNC, he led Premier’s revenue cycle consulting practice, and prior to Premier worked as a senior healthcare consultant for Ernst & Young in the Los Angeles healthcare consulting practice. During that time, he gained experience in strategic repositioning, mergers and acquisitions, financial modeling, and business process improvement.

Dazley graduated with a degree in Health, Society and Policy in 1994 and later received a dual Masters of Business Administration and Masters of Health Services Administration from the University of Utah. He is a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association and has performed numerous speaking engagements at local, regional, and national levels for HFMA including HFMA’s Annual National Institute. In addition, he has delivered numerous addresses to the Healthcare Financial Management Association, American College of Healthcare Executives, University Healthsystem Consortium, State Hospital Associations, hospital boards and medical staff and various other industry conferences.
