In CSBS, we have a collaborative advising model meaning our academic advisors are trained to advise in multiple majors within our college. This provides our students with the opportunity to meet with a professional advisor in a timely manner and one who is also an expert and knowledgeable across serval academic disciplines.
When selecting an advisor to meet with, make sure to use the sorting function below to identify your major or topic and then read the bio in the advising cards to select your preferred advisor.
WALK-IN HOURS SPRING 2020
We place students at the center of all we do and are committed to provide quality services. In order to provide these quality services to our students, it is important to note that walk-in hours are meant to allow for a brief 10 to 15 minute meeting with an advisor and are intended to answer quick or urgent questions. Walk-in hours are not meant to replace scheduled appointments such as Mandatory Advising (MAP) and Academic Standards, which have registration holds. Complex academic concerns will require a scheduled, full-length appointment in order to effectively serve and support our students.
During the first week of school (January 6-10), walk-in hours will be held at various times and locations depending on your major.
Starting January 15 through April 22, we will have Walk-In Wednesdays from 1:00 – 3:00 pm.
Walk-in Wednesdays will not be held on March 11 due to Spring Break.
Walk-in Wednesdays will not be held on March 25 due to New Student Orientations.
Questions about Walk-In Hours?
Send an email to: firstname.lastname@example.org or call 801-213-1144.
We place students at the center of all we do and are committed to having all appointments start and end on time. In order to provide on-time appointments for all students and to be respectful of everyone's time (fellow students and advisors) you will be asked to reschedule if you are 10 minutes (or more) late for an appointment.
We understand that there are circumstances outside of your control which can contribute to reasons for being late. Therefore, we are happy to help you reschedule by either calling 801-213-1144 or sending an email to email@example.com (and make sure to include your student ID#). If you know ahead of time that you are unable to keep your appointment, please cancel it as soon as possible in order to allow other students to utilize that time. To cancel, use the following link: https://utah.craniumcafe.com/ or call 801-213-1144.
