Gov. Herbert Airs First TV Commercials for Primary Race
Upon Gov. Herbert's defeat to Jonathan Johnson in the delegate vote at the Republican
state convention on April 23, he has started airing TV commercials with the slogan,
"The Steady Hand of Leadership," in the hopes of regaining his edge. Political science
professor Matthew Burbank said he was surprised Johnson hadn't already started introducing
himself to the nearly 600,000 Republicans eligible to vote in the primary on June
28, but Johnson's campaign manager said we can expect to see them soon.
